In 1999, Turner Stage Lighting added 2 Roof
Systems to their ever growing inventory of equipment! "There was a need for a
safer, larger roof system in this area...", owner Garry Turner states, "...and
we are so happy with the outcome and response we got from our current and new
clients."
The 43' X 35' Gabled Roof, is an impressive way
to turn a location into an event to be remembered. This roof comes standard with 120
lights, but other options are available. "It's so fun to see clients faces when
we take a empty parking lot or field, and turn it into a monstrous event!", says TSL
employee Joe Moore.
Built from the industry mainstay of Thomas Trussing and Ground Support, the gabled roof
flew over a variety of artists this past year, including Diamond Rio, George Benson,
Blessid Union of Souls and many more. "Everyone loved it!" Garry Turner went on
to say, "and seemed at ease with the way we go the extra mile for safety." |

Pics to come! |
The 38' X 30' Flat Roof, was designed as a tool to fit the
smaller needs of some events. It's quick set up and 60 light standard option, makes
it very reasonable for the tighter budgeted event. "You can't just put together
some TV tower or 2 X 4's, and throw a blue tarp over it, and call it a stage-top",
Larry Starcher of Sound Rental Service states. "When I hire Turner Stage Lighting, I
don't have to worry about the roof and lights....I know it is in very professional
hands."
This smaller roof is undergoing redesign in the winter of 99-00. "We are
trying to make it more rigid, yet quicker to set up. We never stop trying to improve
on good things." Owner Garry Turner says, "If there is a way to make it better,
we will find it!" |
Stageright Staging Now Available
Turner Stage Lighting now offers Stageright Staging, available
as part of the roof systems, or as a stand alone requirement. Stageright has quickly
become the industry standard of staging. "I have never worked with an easier stage to
assemble", says TSL employee Dan Combs, "and when it's all together, it is solid
as a rock." The self-adjusting steps and guard rails, just add a nice touch to
the stage." Available with the all-terrain supports, this stage is a breeze to
set up on any surface.
